Howdy faithful readers… it’s supposed to be “silent” but sometimes it’s allowed to break the rule.
I made this “Dadaism” postcard for a swap organised by an art group I belong to. To thank you visiting my “Drops of Everything”, I will for once reveal my “technique” (gosh, that’s a pompous word).
First, I photographed a Venetian mask, which was being hand-made while I was visiting the workshop in Venice. Then, some stencil stamping, collage, gesso, colored pencils.
All set!

Dadaism
I do love the results here and how you incorporated your own photograph with this piece. It makes it very ‘personal’ and gives it a great back-story. This is a wonderful example of Dadaism. So glad you are ‘playing’ with us!
Thank you for your visit, Lynne, I sincerely appreciate your kind comment.
This is fascinating Louise. It makes me stop and think as well as enjoy the whole.
Val, I did enjoy making that card, may be its the magic of Venice which inspired me… Thanks for stopping by.
Made me stop and take a good long look! Awesome Louise 🙂
In a sense, it’s my personal interpretation of my trip to Venice, special, meaningful, may be am the only one to “feel” my Venetian moments, but I was glad to share my own view of Dadaism… Good to know that you spent some time on this image!
