I thought the game was over, in fact Art never stops being liberated. This morning my mailbox welcomed a couple of side swaps postcards, isn’t that awesome! Let me share them with you.

Chandra Mountain
On her envelope, Chandra, from Alabama, says “Just do your thing”… This is what I will be doing straight now by thanking my dear friend, Chandra, first for our friendship which I do treasure and for kindness she showed by sending me this beautiful card, illustrated by Elizabeth F. Gilkey, I love this pastoral landscape with these two cute houses…
But, let us focus on Chandra’s postcards. The first one quoting Vincent Van Gogh: “I dream my painting and then, I paint my dream”… My readers think of these wise words and put them into practice, you will see the World differently.
The other postcard is somewhat special… Chandra chose for title “Karle’s Wings” with these words from Ram Dass: “We’re all just walking each other home”. Each one of you will grasp the quote’s meaning as you feel. There’s a lot about that. By sending that card, Chandra wanted to thank me for a postcard I sent to her sister, Lori, who is experiencing some hard time. Lori, I think of you writing these words and send you positive vibes and love from across the pond.
I would like to invite you to take a look at Chandra’s blog, you will get so much inspiration from her words. Thank you once more, dear Chandra… Looking forward for next LYA session, until then, we will of course keep in touch.

Michele Matucheski
This lovely “Baba Yaga’s Daughter” postcard comes from the Sweet Leaf Productions Photography and More by Michele Matucheski from Wisconsin. I just love this lady, her smile and I can even hear her music. Michele, I love accordeon, it has some vintage touch which will never fade. Visit Michele’s blog, you will like it! Thanks a lot for swaping again this year, see you next time!
I will end that post by two quotes which Chandra and Michele mentioned on their cards.
- “Dont’ ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive” – Howard Thurman
- “Creativity is contagious. Pass it on!” – Albert Einstein
Isn’t it fun that this swap never ends! These are lovely

WOW! Lucky you, your swap continues! These are all so gorgeous, including yours Louise! Thanks so much for sharing these with us 🙂 I swapped with these talents as well. I love the thought that comes to mind… all of us sitting at a table, swapping art in person. Ahh well, ’til the next LYA, 😉
Yep, lucky, lucky I am ;)… That would be fabulous, who knows may be one day we could set up such a meeting, it would be great and for sure lot of fun!
Beautiful card! I love the leaves and the accordion lady, but your flower caught my eye right from the start! Happy Week!
