Spring!
In all its splendour… Thanks for stopping by!
We have pink trees coming to life here too (and yellow). How nice to think we can be so far, and have something like that in common 🙂 Those misty hills caught my eye
immédiatement! Looked at the map to see where this is, and how far it might be from you. How wonerful it must be to live where you can so easily see so many other countries. 🙂 Thanks for sharing this with us Louise! So lovely 🙂
Friendship has no border, Sheila… Glad you enjoyed the scenery. Gruyères is a lovely village with paved streets. We spent half a day walking and admiring the view of those misty mountains (which caught my eye too 😉). The World has plenty of marvel, if only Humans took time to see and look…
You’ve captured the perfect image of a Swiss village in spring. What a peaceful looking little place in the valley of those misty, mysterious mountains and pops of color with the cherry tree (maybe) and the forsythia blossoming. Walking through this village must have been delightful. And the stories this place could tell! Oh my. Thanks for sharing.
A very serene and restful place… Gruyères is a small village full of charm and character, I really enjoyed my visit there. Thanks for your comment, Lynne 🙂
Oh how I L♥VE this photo dear Louise!
I visited Gruyere many many years ago and remember having a delicious Gruyere fondue ummmm.
Your photography gives me wanderlust.
Beautiful work as always oxoxo
Gruyères is so picturesque, I could have stayed the whole day there… Didn’t you taste the “meringue double creme”, yummy, yummy. Thanks for stopping by, Patty.
I had to stop after the fondue as I was traveling alone and that was quite alot of yummy cheese 😉 I was staying in the village of Zweisimmen and have such fond memories of that time. Cows walking down the street with their bells clanging and more.
It is always a pleasure to visit you Louise!
Switzerland is really beautiful, the mountains, the countryside… I had a trip on Lake Geneva, it was most enjoyable… Nice to welcome you in my blog world, dear Patty, xoxo
Love, love, love this picture. Breathtakingly, beautiful.
I love your comment…

This image amazes me…really so much like a scene from a fairy tale. You are an amazing photographer, Louise! xo
Just look, see and shoot, Nanette… You know that 😉, xo.
I love Gruyères–and Gruyere–too. A lovely photo of a lovely place. You’re a great photographer Louise.
Paul (Thompson, Gabriola, Canada.)
